(Thread started as 'Corris Trackbed' is the only other heading located)

Latest update (29th June) on new build Falcon replica No.10. Much needs to be discerned from reading between the lines.

Wouldn't normally post one of the photo album updates, unless there's something major occuring, but check out the 6th photo in this sequence. It gives an excellent impression of just how steep Maespoeth Bank (which is immediately adjacent to the line in the photo) is. Can't wait to see (and hear!) a loco attacking it with a full train!

One other photo suggests they could use a bit of scaffold staging, and something to rest the ends on. Balancing on precarious ladders could lead to delays completing their new carriages.... at the very least!

Nice to see the financial as well as the workshop progress. By the 2019 season, we could well have the 2 Falcons, 41/2 Corris 'home fleet' plus the TR's Corris carriage and the Brake Van (just for a visit). All we'd need then is a new Dyfi Bridge (OK....perhaps not quite all!) to recreate that marvellous old Market Day double headed shot with about every item of passenger stock on the Dovey from over a century ago. Top'n'tail with two 'Tattoos' anyone? Shame it's just a dream for now!

Two Tattoos at the same time and place! Wouldn't that be a paradox affecting the space time continuum?
