Don't worry Tanfield lads, 5197 has a superb industrial pedigree. Ex colliery engine, ex military, ex mainline - something for everyone! I am sure you will enjoy her...take your ear defenders!

Is the Night Shoot likely to take place? I've had a brief look at the CVR website, but there is no mention of it. Is there any news of whether it will take place or not?

With the gala only 3 weeks away this weekend are many people off the forum planning on attending?

I have seen the working time table and it promises to be a cracking event.

For the Ring Haw fans it will be on the pay and play, 1 solo full round trip per day and also banking trains up the bank out of Froghall!

5199 is due to arrive at the railway today.

    Regards

    Chris

I'll be turning up at some point during the weekend. It should be a good do and it will be good to see 5199 back up from it's southern travels.

Whereabouts is the working timetable, that everyone seems to have seen? I can't seem to find it publically available on the website, or am I having a senior moment?

Gala looks very tempting though.... :D

Is the S160 confirmed as appearing?

The timetable should be available on the CVR website by Monday evening. There are a few changes to be made and proof read, and as soon as this is done it will be published.

5197 was today tested by the NDT arm of Royal Sun Alliance. We are putting the boiler back together ready for a steam test later next week. When this is completed we will know what exactly is happening with it.
