Just seen this...
As this has now appeared on UKSteam and the Chiltern web sites I hope I'm not out of order in speculating that a certain Earl may be on this train.
Guess what, my entry, "The Bekonian Shakespeare" didnt get chosen as the winning name.

The Bekoning Bard
I've just tried booking online and it's not working. I've also just phoned up and it's rung out and gone to answer phone.
Done it! But I had to download Firefox to be able to do it. When using Internet Explorer the form kept clearing itself when I pressed the buy tickets button.
#-o Just your luck Nigel,I won't bother trying yet!.See you on Sunday for the "Whiteball Challenge".
I know, tell me about it! I had a reply to my email to Chiltern, and they admit there's a problem with using IE to book. Firefox worked fine though.
See you Sunday Alan!
Welcome to the wonderful world of open source software, where everything just seems to work. =D>
Now be really brave and ditch Windoze altogether and try a Linux OS. After all I'm sure Bill Gates wont miss your money. ;-)
It didn't work for me in IE either, but it was OK in Google Chrome.
I will have to download Firefox tomorrow then
I downloaded Google Chrome which worked fine.
\/ Managed to get through via the process which failed on Friday,so we're now booked on this train!.
Great day out yesterday with 60163,made all the better by having all the former PTR gang together again!.
See you in a couple of weeks 5944,must now try and catch up with some sleeeeep!! z z z z z z z z z
Not seen any updates on this for some time. Nor seen any final times yet either on here. Only a week to go too.
"Don't worry, be happy" as the song goes. ;-)
Thanks for the cheery note! You should know as much as many out there.
Any ideas on the positioning moves? Nothing on UKSteam as of yet

Sorry for the somewhat flippant reply. But for obvious reasons I couldn't possibly quote probable timings on a public forum.
As the old saying goes "it's more than my jobs worth". 8-[
No doubt as soon as David gets them then the times will be published on UKSteam.
No last minute gauging issues then??
Might be a bit premature with the timings still lads, not unusual for them to not appear till the Wednesday or Thursday before a Saturday run, patience.
Apologies if I have missed the sarcasm, but why is it more than your jobs worth? Surely nobody has anything to lose from revealing some light engine timings which are often only a rough guide anyway.
