A very pleasant three hours up at Chasewater today . Thanks to everyone involved . Weather turned at lunchtime but the 1pm freight with Asbestos leading and Colin McAndrew banking was a joy to watch . picture on it's way

Many thanks to all those that braved the weather, the railway staff had a very pleasant day indeed, the trains were well populated and the fund to overhaul "Asbestos" is off to a very good start, thanks again and yes Colin McAndrew enjoyed the day too.
Three engines out for an impromptu event on new years day and a good turnout of voulenters cannot be all that bad now can it.

Asbestos outside the shed at Chasewater at the end of the day. It was a good day out, pity about the weather, but you can't have everything. Trains seemed to be well loaded too. At least the middle coach with heating was! Buffet was always busy too.
