Carnforth - Fort William ECS move, 14/5

Both K1s were running today, I see.

 

The Jacobite ECS move is always one of my favourite trips of the year, and when the weather plays ball, it's even better:

In the Upper Clyde Valley:

The Rannoch shot is sublime! Hope to get up for at least one ride on the Jacobite this year. Summer is almost here!

Had a good run to Mallaig with 62005 this week!!

Was interesting to note that the station toilets at Mallaig are locked, and display notices "for First Scotrail customers only"!!!

Lots of people boarding the train early.....................................

Agreed, definitely calendar/poster material! As someone who has never been over the West Highland line (well, not until this July!), if I was asked to imagine the route, I would probably end up thinking of something very similar to your photo. The other shots are very good and well composed, too.
