We had a good day there yesterday made by an old friend from the days of steam driving 73082 in the afternoon. Can’t say the same about our four hour plus journey home by Southern though who had an aversion to running trains through to Southampton as we were thrown out to wait twice after eventually getting a train from East Croydon. When will NR provide an all weather railway? We will drive next time.
