    Definitely the Blue Pullman set? There is of course another set at Crewe that was used for tests between Crewe and Chester that could also be used

    Fantastic finish on it, but I don't really think it flatters the sharp lines of the HST power car. It would have probably looked better on a buffered set, and I speak as someone who generally prefers my HSTs unbuffered. The coaches look terrific though.

    All that said, as a business proposition it makes total sense. LSL/Saphos/whichever bit of the Hosking operation it is definitely have to be commended for their initiative in developing new rail tour options.

    I know RH have good reliability. But something in me said why would they use the BP set for training.

    The shorter set seen last week running to Chester (43059+058) is out today.

    Cruising along the WCML at Woodacre, returning ECS from Dundee - Crewe this afternoon. Great livery for a very dull day!
