    Afternoon All,

    Some years ago whilst having a few days in Scotland, I went on the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway which, at that time, linked up with guided tours round the Fireclay Mine adjacent to Birkhill station. This was a fascinating and interesting tour, not least because the mine was served by a narrow gauge railway.

    Sadly, the mine is now closed to the public and these tours are but a memory. However, I took a few pictures while I was there and these are now on Flickr. If anyone would like to have a look, this is the link :
