Was speaking with MEJ over this a couple of weekends back, and he is hoping to have Garratts of all shapes and sizes there. Said more details when he can but hopefully be a good event. Not been the Science museum for a couple of years now, may have to change that.

The owner of BP1827 built in 1879 has been invited - I am sure that the engine will visit from Foxfield. This engine was the works shunter at Gorton and for all its working life.

Most of its life it was a 0-4-2 crane tank, no plans to rebuild in that form in time for the event !.
