Last steam hauled Pullman of the year and with it comes yet another driver retirement to follow in the footsteps of Don Clarke earlier this year. I cannot recall the driver's name but although a "lesser" profile than the likes of Don, he is a great bloke and I hope that lots turn out Victoria and elsewhere to wish him a very happy retirement. He was driving the Belmond last Saturday too by the way so a great steam farewell to him.

Well it's Andy Flett's day today so make of it what you like. Another good Hither Green man who knows Clan Line very well and treats her accordingly but that doesn't mean he takes it easy. A quarter of an hour late off Victoria after a problematic marshalling of the train and ECS move into the station, it seems. But all on time by the water stop.

And here it is, cruising to that water stop.

Been saving this location up till the leaves fell and the weather was right.
