Three years and one day after I walked the old Somerset & Dorset Railway from Midford to Bath Green Park I did the walk in the opposite direction. I did this as I wanted to do something to mark the 50th anniversary of the closure of the line.
I took photographs along the walk and this time I was rather pleased to see the very recognisable building at the site of the old co-op siding which I must have missed three years ago. I also ventured under Midford viaduct to find remnants of the GWR Camerton branch.

My photos can be seen here https://paulgildersleve.smugmug.com/Bath-Green-Park-to-Midford/

    Regards,

    Paul

I took my sons for a bike ride from Midford towards Wellow on Sunday. For some reason they ended up getting Ice Cream from the Hope & Anchor, and the youngest made the usual spectacular mess of himself with a chocolate ice cream
