Anyone know if the Barrow Hill Roundhouse event on 4/5th April are doing the early bird start on the Saturday morning? In the past they have opened the doors at 7.30am for anyone wanting to get photographs before the crowds fill the hall.Nothing on the website about it this year.Thanks.

I believe that due to shortage of time ( due to arrival of locos only days before the event ) the time will be needed to set up displays and the rules governing members of the public and moving trains may preclude the "early bird" arrangement this year.

I am however open to correction if there has been a change of arrangement

Thanks Fred for that information much appreciated.Might give it a miss I feel a scrum to get the photograph if previous years are anything to go by.
