73000 is showing empty stock lamps ,9H Patricroft Manchester shed code. So I think this is of a empty stock train of vehicles en route to works .Location a guess is leaving Manchester Exchange ,date 1966-8 .The 73s seemed to congregate at Patricroft during the final years. I hadn't a photo of a Caprotti valve gear 73 so I made a visit to Patricroft on 10/09/1967,sods law had it that all the Caprottis were inside ,or awkward to photo ,and most of the normal valve gear 73s and Black 5s outside in decent spots. Two images at Patricroft, dismantled one number not recorded.

Yes another good glue is the gas holder top right. It s still there only moved a bit to the east and of course listed .There was a stabling point just there as well, loco's on shorter runs that didn't need coal, would be turned and have there fires cleaned etc .It saved a run up to 14B Kentish Town.

Another interesting selection of pictures there Neil, but one or two misidentifications among them

19/61 is 73078 at Fort William and not 73058
    22/61 is 73094 not 73059 as claimed.
61/61 at Evercreech Junction is not 73073 but 75073 a locally based Standard Class 4

    And a couple of locations:-

54/61 73069 is at Dorchester South
    56/61 73069 is at Carnforth
