    Sad to see that the airframe was consumed by fire, this aircraft had already been restored once from a wreck. I think it is the same one that came to Duxford for the Flying Legends a few years ago.

    Thats sad news indeed as a supporter of the" Sally B" at Duxford we owe a great deal to the people who keep these flying .Thank god the crew were saved.

    Heartbreaking, just heartbreaking. We are fortunate that the beasts we choose to preserve can generally be resurrected from fire. As has been said, the main thing is the crew were ok.
