    I'd like to give my thanks to the people at the Spa Valley today. It's not often that I can cab ride a whole line, drive a loco, bag some rare track, travel a line in a brake van, see brand-new signalling in action and see a loco that's quite so far from home - all in the same day. Everybody I met was friendly and helpful and the decent-sized crowds seemed to be having a good time.

    A thoroughly good day out - and the services nearly all ran to time. Best of luck for the rest of the weekend.
