Amberley Museum's 2016 Rail Gala will be held on the 9th and 10th of July. Visiting engines will be Jung 0-4-0WT 'Susan' and Orenstein & Koppel 0-4-0WT 'Jenny', both from the Richmond Light Railway, Kent. They will be operating alongside the Museum's two Bagnalls, 0-4-0ST 'Peter' (2067/1918) and 2-4-0T 'Polar Bear' (1781/1905), operating a frequent service of passenger and industrial trains. Also running should be a significant amount of the Museum's infernal combustion and battery electric locos, and possibly the Motor Rail Simplex 'Burt' on the standard gauge demonstration line.

The customary model railway exhibition will also take place. If you would like to show off your layout, promote your society or come and sell things at our Gala event (railway and transport related please!) then please get in touch here.

Also, don't forget that 'Polar Bear' will be visiting the Groudle Glen Railway on the Isle of Man, where she spent her working life, from the 23rd July until the 7th August.
