'Alcydion' at Derby

    Evening all,

    I've noticed Deltic D9009 'Alcydion' parked up in the yard at Derby RTC for the last couple or days or so. Out of sheer curiosity, does anyone know why it's there? I imagine RVEL are doing some work on it, I'd just be interested to know what.

    AFAIK it' pronounced Al-issy-don. Someone will now say it's pronounced Alley-side-on. :)
