    Well anything over half the length of line gets grouped in that price bracket anyway. And I got a day rover the other week and had 5 locos in steam. Not bad for 18 quid.

    It is interesting how there is such a wide range of access to out of service locos up and down the country. At Didcot for example, you can go round the shed, complete with rickety steps into cabs and play with the controls to your hearts content. Others... well if it ain't running, it is either rusting gently in a siding or lock away to one day be restored.
