I don't seem to be able to find a thread for this. If there is another one I will merge it later.

Anyway I saw 70000 going well near Langwathby this afternoon, any news if still running to time as I am off to see it again at Warrington BQ shortly.

    Thanks, Neil.

Many thanks Dan. I'd gone there to compare the run to Ollies a few weeks before.

First time in many years since have been back to Birkett common, I didn't realise it was so popular! Must have been over a hundred chaps between the two spots. The sun never quite played ball, but it wasn't foggy or raining so I look at that as a good day on the S & C :) I'll post my Castle shot on the other thread,

    Cheers

    Duncan

This was a Pathfinder tour. Last weekend Pathfinder ran the Bristolian railtour from Bristol to Paddington and return.
It ran in superb light but it appears it had the same stock as behind Britannia yesterday. The Inter-City Mk.2 looks absolutely terrible but it could have been worse, Pathfinder regularly use the 'Rainbow Set'. <BJ>

My effort from yesterday - unfortunately being 20mins early not quite the spot where I wanted to be but still near to the north entrance of the Blea Moor tunnel, but that would seem to be how the day was going to go with the Earl also being 20/30min early - heh ho
