May be of interest, just added two video clips of 70000 out on the Settle Carlisle during March 1995. Southbound being piloted by Standard class 4 no 75014!
    Regards John.

How many engines does Jeremy Hosking own now? I was trying to think the other day and came up with the following:
    Bittern
    9F 92212
    70013
    Braunton
    Port Line
    Holland America Line
    Nunney Castle?
    Raveningham Hall?

    Are there anymore?

    Isn't 70013 a NRM engine?

Oh well, easy mistake to make I'm sure. What Mr Hosking needs to that list is a nice Black 5

He definately owns Nunney, but not sure about Raveningham. Btw, anyone know where she's undergoing restoration? The GWSR site, as well as not saying who she's owned by, says its happening 'off site'.

Ravingmad is indeed owned by Jeremy Hoskings, and is being overhauled at the Flour Mill. The tender is looking nice, so I'm told.

I know that Les Greer once owned 92212 and that Bert Hitchin had something to do with with her, but pretty sure she is owned by the MHLPS now?

Still owned by Hosking as far as i know, i havent seen any mention of her being sold - i think he paid for the TPWS and perhaps even OTMR before NR said she couldnt go mainline due to the flangeless wheels.

I'm new to the forum and have just spotted this, so my apologies for resurrecting an expired topic but this needs correcting.

Les Greer never OWNED 92212; he was a director of the 92212 Locomotive Company Limited, together with Mike Pollard, Peter Haddon and Les's wife Janet. I, along with many others, was a small shareholder and a (very small and insignificant) member of the restoration team.

The locomotive is, though, a lasting tribute to Les's drive, persistence and sheer bloody-minded determination. That should never be forgotten.

92212 is still owned by jeremy hosking and from what I have gathered she has been stripped of OTMR, TPWS etc. for 70000

Talking of 92212 shes steadily making progress now!

No I do not currently volunteer
Not sure, however i believe that Jeremy Hosking wanted the former members and support crew of the Britannia Locomotive Soceity to manage her, so it may be that it is at a location that suits them as well as the owner.

Such an arrangement exists with Nunney Castle i believe.

I was told at the weekend by someone in the know that 70000 is going to have air braking fitted to her.
