The Chemin De Fer Des Chanteraines celebrated their 30th anniversary over the weekend
    of May 17th and 18th.

The railway is situated in a park of the same name to the north of Paris. It is easily
accessible from RER line C station Gennevilliers.

An intensive programme of operations was scheduled for both days including full line
trains and local shuttles from the depot.

Glorious weather brought out the crowds and the park was very busy. The line is
virtually all unfenced and includes a long humpback bridge over a dual carriageway.
This all makes for excellent filming/photography possibilities.

    Steam locos in action:

Henschel Feldbahn type 0-8-0 1917/1551 visiting from Pithiviers
Decauville 0-6-0 1916/1652 visiting from Froissy
    O&K 0-6-0 1914/7429 just returned to service
    Decauville 0-6-0 1920/1770
    Decauville 0-4-0 Tabamar 1911/8069
Decauville 0-4-0 869 cabless, didn't see much action

    Diesel locos:

    Socofer Nos 1 and 2
    Plymouth Nos 7 and 10

In addition to these there were many smaller vehicules of various types in use at the depot and on shuttles.
The Pithiviers autorail was very active, and Vincent, a Decauville 0-4-0 which is awaiting a new boiler,
was towed out into the sun.
    A great weekend.
