    GWR Pannier tank 5786 will be seeing out the end of its current boiler ticket in style in the next few months after spending the last 2 years away from its home base of the South Devon Railway.
    Its recent visits to the Battlefield and Chinnor and Princes Rosborogh have seen the loco away from home territory but it will be a welcome sight when it returns in time for the SDR's 'Rails & Ales' Gala from the 26th -29th August.
    The stalwart pannier will hopefully finally bow out during its planned Final Fling members day, run by owning group the Worcester Loco Society in mid September.
    The loco should be running on service trains again from the end of August until mid September.
