Passenger and TPO timetable to be published this weekend. A full timetable ( with freight movements etc) can be purchased during the gala!
44676 ( Facing south) passed its steam test and according to GCR news letter is expected to be rostered for this weekend along with 45231(Facing north)
    Should be interesting!
    Regards....RICK

In place of the booked 5690 Leander, Two Black 5's 44767 George Stephenson and 45231 The Sherwood Forester will be running this weekend. 5690 Leander is having repair work carried out and 'should' available when repairs are complete.

Where's your gen from, if you don't mind my asking?

From a source close to the GC " jinty beimg finished sunday, they wont want dirt on it if they are varnishing, cleaning the crest and numbers would distroy them"

    is that:

"Ooops. The Jinty makes a debut at 9.35am on Saturday. There is an informal
launch on Saturday at 11.30 am at Loughborough." ?

Because that's replying to a post about the gala, therefore implying the debut is 0935 on the gala Saturday?

Looks like that was referring to the gala as there is no 09:35 on a normal GCR weekend timetable and the Jinty is working the 09:35 during the gala

Anyone know whether it'll be fixed in time for tomorrow's services, or if not what'll replace it?
