Photted the train near Mayford and climbing Gomshall. Both in very dull weather!

    Looked great as usual.

    Photos to follow.

    Nice shot leaving Guildford (above).

Couple of photos. First, heading past Mayford towards Worplesdon. Then climbing to the first summit of Gomshall near to Shere. Both in weather that had crashed a few minutes before the train arrived.

Was on a service train from Winchester to Waterloo and passed it at Woking. Looked great and was a pleasant surprise!

Speaking as a man with a very strong GWR bias....

She really is a beauty and her finish and reliability is a credit to all involved in her upkeep.

Yes, that was me, think it may have come out a tad 'soft' though. I was 'bowled' last time I tried that view, so a bit luckier this time anyway. Anyone planning to see 35028,34067 and 60163 on Feb 14th? Could be quite a day.
