45699 took 13 on the Lune Rivers Trust Special from Carnforth-Hellifield-Chester and return (including the climb of Wilpshire) of 28 September 2013 and pretty sure there was no diesel

I'd say that counts too! Heck, 13 up Wilpshire, and all that talk of Leander taking 12 up there this Summer.

Getting back to 35018 is there any news on how repairs are doing, or if they have not started yet when they are due to? i suppose a lot wil depend on space being availible in the workshop.

It was parked in the North yard on Wednesday, the workshop is currently occupied with far more important LNER work! ;)

Unconfirmed rumour that the problem (inside little end) has been rectified. So we will see.

So it was the little end, not the big end then, lets hope we see her out again soon and that everything is ok

More importantly, are those apple green wheels in the NRM short from 60007? That would be a shocker!

At the risk of another livery debate, I believe 60007 will be back in BR Express passenger blue. Moving back to 35018 any idea when it's going back to 10A?

Seeing the latest video from @Linesider, the visibility from the RHS footplate forwards must be significantly impaired by the escaping steam. Can't be easy for the crew on that side.

Leaving York on Thursday with No 9 at 08.55 to Carnforth arr 16.02 then no 9 to the ELR. I'm not sure if that means they have taken down the middle con rod and it will be towed by No 9 or if the they have repaired it at York. There is a water stop at Hellifield so it looks as if they are not diesel hauled
