    Seemingly a VERY unofficial source!

If the consist is the same as Thursday's it's 10 plus two locos - so 12 coaches equivalent. Is that really too long for Worcester? Why would possible shorter charters in the future also be banned if length is the issue?

The train is 34046+POB+10+the Class 47. Worcester Depot has been restricted to 11 coaches for many years now. The Class 47 on the rear is the issue.

You don’t know if they did have a problem with it. It was advice that it may be worth checking before going out this morning and not meant to cause a whole lot of speculation

Anybody wishing to see the return run at Frampton Mansell crossing will be in for a nasty shock!

Hanwell, where I bumped into jackshepherd (in a purely safe social distancing way of course) and Finstock. Braunton not exactly exerting itself it seems.

Still nice day out, popped into North Leigh Roman Villa on the way back and was delighted to find the mosaic building open

Nice to meet you at Hanwell, just shame about the locos performance.

    Not the shot I intended.
Went to a farm crossing near Fladbury only to find they have installed some very loud sirens which wail continuously when a train passes!
Managed to relocate to a nearby over bridge to get this simple record shot.

Block on the line at Sapperton. Trespassers dotted at the tunnel - Police walking the line.

Wasn't me MrK. Faced with a 250 mile round trip to take a rubbish video, I thought I may as well make the trip worthwhile. I dawdled back looking at other possible locations for the future. Hit the M40/M25 junction around 4.00 pm

Apologies for any grief and upset, I was only passing on the info as relayed to me.
The message saying that 34046 was OK to work came through about 2245, after I had shut down for the night.
Be thankful for RTT reporting locos on workings of some operators.

    Cheers, Neil
