It is some way off because a lot of money needs to be found. Even then it will be an historic item and need a degree of cosseting. The 150 is currently and will for a while be a darn sight easier to get spares for too.

Exactly that - it allows for a two-train service on the days when it's not justified to steam a second loco - so a 10:50 off Alton instead of 12:00 on the one-train or 1+ timetable.
