    The only post I can find mentioning Pendon is in a thread from 2009 https://www.national-preservation.com/posts/293588/ so I'm starting a new one.

    Pendon is not only, or even mainly, a model railway. It's model of a stretch of the Vale of White Horse (and separately of a couple of other locations) in 1930-ish. The village and the railway lines are imaginary but all the buildings and trains are accurate models of real ones from the area and period, except on a few special occasions when the trains are more modern.

    I am posting now to draw attention to a remarkable "driver's eye" video; although to be pedantic it is more like the view of a diesel driver rather than with the view restricted by a boiler
