And yet we've been waiting far longer than that for 'Boscastle' which has been pending or under overhaul for 25 years now. On the face of it, 45491 is ideal for the GCR so it does seem strange, if what is reported is true.

The Spa Valley Loco Department Facebook page has said that with the imminent movement of 34053 to the MNR, it will be retaining it's 34050 Royal Observer Corps guise from the Spa Valley's Cuckoo Line gala for its visit to the MNR.

My video from Saturday, we had a brilliant day, huge thanks to everyone involved, I really hope the event was a success for the railway! The timetable meant there was never a moment when nothing was happening and all the various loco recreations...
