3 hour drive each way --- but worth it - first visit in 25 years last time was with 5029 for running in.....

In the latest Green Signals Video - there are Aug 25 shots of 6024 in pieces - boiler off and wheels out... so at least it is being worked on
its showing as 98802 which is DofG
so will will 22 be making a overnight trip to darkest Wales to test its new fangled ETCS install..... or is that still a work in progress
I guess the Middle Cylinder con rod stayed up..... That would have been a feat of F1 proportions to remove that in 2h20 without a pit..
Fast work by support crew..... looks like 2h20m to gain a block, inspect and then remove at least one side of motion...
back in the day....... when the line was in almost BR condition it certainly wasn't walking pace.... ;-)
