The problems at the SVR diesel events appear to get worse each year and need to be nipped in the bud. It may be drastic but I would suggest cancelling the 2027 diesel gala altogether. The message will spread quickly and everyone will understand...

And here it is enjoying a lucky break in the gathering clouds while crossing Dutton Viaduct. To complete a steamy lunchtime in Cheshire while waiting for the train the steam tug 'Kerne' headed downstream on the Weaver Navigation. [ATTACH]

The T3 is in service today. Stock includes vintage coaches and the GWR inspection saloon at the rear. IMHO, the GWR inspection saloon blends in much better than the Pullman observation car. <BJ>
