    If trains only run to Goathland and on the assumption a point isn’t purchased /installed to reinstate the loop all trains will have to be top and tail as at Christmas …more costs and maintenance…

    31128 also gone home to Burton for maintenance ,by road . Previous returns were by rail ,but that wouldn’t have been an option this time ,unless it had accompanied 60103 pre the bridge inspection .
