Just a quick nip down to the tunnel crossing this afternoon to see 2999 on the Pullman set. Made some good noise coming out and I’m sure the fact the golden arrow headboard is on definitely won’t cause discussion amongst the purists .

75069 has been unloaded at Kidderminster facing north - is it staying like this or being turned to face south (I know Harry mentioned about the turntable a few weeks ago) but just wanted to double-check for "movement reasons"

It was mentioned in a charter email. ‘80151 on 13 April This is confirmed as going ahead and will be the last full-day charter with the loco facing south as it is due to be turned to face north in the summer.’

As mentioned before for anyone who has missed the gala or want more W8 "Freshwater" will be double heading with 72 "Fenchurch" on set B this weekend before it heads back to the Isle of Wight 2999 "Lady of Legend" is also out this weekend on set...
