    Unfortunately more then likely will be the case, or in the event we get enough rail fall they will probably stick 45212 on the train as it's already down south and try and ignore the fact of it's not Southern.

    It was likely planned a long time ago to be 34028 but likely as you said not recently. I just think if they had known straight away no 34028. Then they'd have booked 35028 in to pull it so they have Southern locomotive they've advertised.

    Anyone got any insights to what steam is going to be on the End of Southern Steam railtour on 9th July? Website states it's a Southern Locomotive but Eddystone isn't ready for mainline and I believe Clan Line is out the next day on a Pullman...
