Just so. Oxenholme to Shap in 20 minutes is good. DoG did it in 19.5 but had one coach less. But let's face it, both are cracking locos and both sets of times sit with each other pretty well. Someone on board will have more detail I am sure.

Taking water at Crewe, diesel on rear being removed (not that it did much). Lovely sprint up to 74mph near Penkridge, some nice noise from up front. [ATTACH]

Have you been hovering over the webpage?! Only just got updated haha. Only came out of our gala meeting a short time ago! Yes sadly it hasn’t been for the want of trying, but an external issue has meant the loco just can’t be done in time....

Maybe if they updated the website to reflect that walk ups are now at significant risk of not being able to travel rather than saying you can buy tickets in the day and promote a way of travelling and that no longer exists.
