Unquestionably true and whilst "angry" certainly doesn't describe my own position, there's a case for "slightly bemused". I'm very glad to hear there's a ringfenced pot for this iconic machine, but fully understand why that fact isn't being...

TBH, it's been one of those persistent mental images which, since it first germinated, won't damn well go, although I'd not seriously thought of owt beyond a photoshop job, which is way beyond my own paltry abilities, or larger than a 16mm/ft...

That throws up some very intersting questions. First off, with recent advances in thermodynamic computer modelling, assuming evidence from real-world internal imaging matches theory to date, then, could said modelling techniques prove or...

Well, @MuzTrem if livery preferences aren't subjective, nothing is. At least Polar Bear was spared one of those stupid so##ing faces! Got to say, I really do like Brown Bear's colours. Perhaps perversely, I've occasionally imagined a 'grouping...

Point of order. No-one AFAIK, other than the Amish and dreamers, advocates removal of cars, lorries or any other class of motor vehicle from the roads, just those chucking out the harmful products of hydrocarbon combustion. This, of course may...

Oh, right. My bad .... [ATTACH] [Image courtesy Stepney on DeviantArt - s'pose it'd have to be something like that] I actually rather liked the 'new black' worn by DLG, Tal & Lyd when they first emerged, especially the fully lined 30190.

By this logic, the whole RH&D Paxman stud should go back into LNER green, all surviving 'mainland' Terriers, barring Boxhill, into Marsh umber and every mainline loco built between 1940-45 should be unadorned black (ditto every surviving NGG16)....
