    Yes saw that. Our first SD trip since December 2012. Joining at Reading so any info on load and where standard class is would be appreciated . Are you on it Graham?

    We are also in J. Even if wrong side for mileposts should be ok after Kemble as that excursion is full. Sapperton twice in less than a week!

    Right, after my brush with colon cancer forced a temporary absence*,we are back trackside on this lovely sunny day. Once they get the engineers train out the way we have 44871 powering up the hill into Virginia Water.

    *I warned you about those Spoons full english's but did I heed my own advice? clearly not.

    Going very well at Coates, just now, on the run from Kemble. Should be very nice at Frampton Mansell tonight! I must also comment on the stellar bit of clearance work done here by Network Rail. It hasn't looked this clear for years!
