I must say that looks better than the blue that's been used on the King....

I don't care, I think the King looks garish, in my opinion there is only one class of loco that looks equally good in either blue or green.... and it's not a Thompson one either.

No sorry of those, I rate Tornado as slightly better that the King with Claud Hamilton as nearest to the A4 in looking right.

    Probably not.
Green is the only proper colour for a GWR loco!

Would that be Apple Green, Brunswick Green, Malachite Green or Stroudley's Improved Green - perchance even British Racing Green ? :)

    Double Scot(ch)!
Double Scotch 2V4.jpg The fine lines of 'Scots Guardsman', are reflected in a large puddle and contrast sharply with the rather brutalist design of the OHLE, as she heads for Lancaster and home with 'The Fellsman' of 01 August 2017.
This was just a couple of weeks before her withdrawal for overhaul and, hopefully, it won't be too long before it's time to raise a glass or two on her return to main line action.

5M50 test path on RTT for Thursday. Standard practice is to run this path up to Hellifield then return on 5M51.

I imagine this may be her

I thought the 5M51 is Hellifield and back as 5M50 is the full loaded test circular route.
