I must say that looks better than the blue that's been used on the King....
Oh dear...you'll have the GWR Mafia after you now!
I don't care, I think the King looks garish, in my opinion there is only one class of loco that looks equally good in either blue or green.... and it's not a Thompson one either.
Tornado, Claud Hamilton or S3/6?
That looks fantastic...............JAMES.............have you seen this?
No sorry of those, I rate Tornado as slightly better that the King with Claud Hamilton as nearest to the A4 in looking right.
Green is the only proper colour for a GWR loco!
Would that be Apple Green, Brunswick Green, Malachite Green or Stroudley's Improved Green - perchance even British Racing Green ?
You missed out Land Rover green, any of the 23 shades currently available..
Looks quite fetching in that livery.
....or should that read retching.....
No fetching is the word....
The fine lines of 'Scots Guardsman', are reflected in a large puddle and contrast sharply with the rather brutalist design of the OHLE, as she heads for Lancaster and home with 'The Fellsman' of 01 August 2017.
This was just a couple of weeks before her withdrawal for overhaul and, hopefully, it won't be too long before it's time to raise a glass or two on her return to main line action.
That time is not far away? Just bumping the thread back to life
5M50 test path on RTT for Thursday. Standard practice is to run this path up to Hellifield then return on 5M51.
I imagine this may be her
I thought the 5M51 is Hellifield and back as 5M50 is the full loaded test circular route.
Has anyone seen it since she left
I guess we'll know soon enough!
Warning - Impending Paint froth.
But whatever colour it is, i hope we do get double scotch and that the paths of our two scots cross, what is the status of 46100 at the moment ?
