My guess would be top and tailed Class 67s, given the train departs Dover via the same way it arrives - to the North. The steam trips are usually circular. The MNLPS website shows Clan Line's next outing as 30th May. Thanks for posting though.

But the perception about "getting rinsed" is also about the purchaser's price expectations. If I go expecting to spend £20, and am told it will be £30, then that will feel like I'm being rinsed, regardless (a) of whether it is value for money...

I should add to my last posting: 'In Recycling News; The studs holding the sump under the tank floor are unused cylinder head studs for a Sulzer 8LDA28. Apparently there was a later version for use in the Cromptons, so we were passed the old...

Unless the vegetation has grown up, you can see the tunnel if you go into the field near The Royal Oak and go right up to the railway fence. Though the field may be full of cows. A photo from last year attached, think I was standing on a step...

The difference between 'VFM' and 'getting rinsed' is often just a matter of personal perception. Expensive things can offer value for money. What you seem to be doing here is making a guess about the costs of an event and the higher ticket price...

By coincidence, I was involved in a similar discussion elsewhere not long ago where a claim had been made that an extension at a heritage site would increase the 'ride' by X%. Given that the length of new track was not much different from the...
