I'm off camping during the first part of the week so I am not sure if I will be back to see Wednesdays run, depends on the weather when we get back :-k Nice to see Lizzy out again though, lets hope all is well.

This is the day with the most subtantial changes so far (ignoring Sunday's "Royal Duchy" warm-up). The train now departs Bristol earlier than planned, makes an extra water stop at Magor and an extra pathing stop at Maindee (Newport), and is then rerouted from Shrewsbury via Wem and Crewe, instead of Chester. Having already got two very pleasing shots of Lizzie climbing Llanvihangel during the autumn of 2007, I think I'll head for the Church Stretton area.

Oh B***** have to change my plans then. and I see that it looks like the water stop is now at Wem instead of Crewe as well.

Hmmmm. Choice of Tangmere or Oliver Cromwell, depending on support crew. Since Ollie will be working the Welsh Marches in June, I'd be very happy to see Tangmere. What's the load? 11 coaches? Either should be OK on Llanvihangel. In hindsight, Nunney Castle was overloaded with 12 last November.

Are the times definite? Just because I'm going home today back tomorrow and looking to land in Preston around 6-6:30ish before 34067 buggers off south.

Is the departure time 10.11 from Bristol Temple Meads accurate? - UK Steam shows the timings for Princess Liz, I assume that Tangmere will run to a similar time.

Go to Hereford and see it leave then get the 13.55 Man Pic train and catch it up in the pathing stop at Shrewsbury for a second chance, or continue on this train to Crewe and wait for her to come through. :-k

Does anyone know if the train left Bristol on time and when it might get to Abergavenny if it wasn't on time?

I think the question related to the loco and support coach AFTER Preston.
