The Far North Explorer ran on the 2nd and 3rd of June and ran from Edinburgh Waverley to Thurso and Wick. Organised by the Scottish Railway Preservation Society Railtours division the tour was powered by their own Class 37 37025 Inverness TMD and Colas owned 37421.
My video shows the train arriving at Waverley and shunting at Wick with some audio overlaid with my pictures taken on the day. I also videoed the empty stock leaving Waverley behind 66739 Bluebell Railway and the 37s being taken away by Caledonian Sleeper loco 73970.
Thanks to everybody involved in making this a great trip.
