No. 34081 92 Squadron and No. 41312 have been such popular performers at our Spring Steam Gala, they'll be operating services next weekend too!

Following their three day appearances, the visiting locomotives will operate alongside No. 34027 Taw Valley for our Southern Sunset weekend on March 25th & 26th.

Despite having to take a long detour home due to the M5 motorway being closed , I've just returned home from the SVR 'Southern Sunset' mini gala.

The weather was wonderful and the locos looked superb. Congratulations to the Ivatt 41312 and 34081 support teams. Your locos are a credit to you.
    .
When 34081 '92 Squadron' departed from Bewdley at noon today the clag was amazing. :Wasntme:

It brought back memories of City of Wells. Let's hope that the locals didn't have their washing out !!

Many thanks to the SVR and the various loco groups for a very enjoyable weekend. <BJ>

I think it was taken by Barry Noble of the Stevenage Locomotive Society.

Cheers Ian, it really is a superb photo. I do wonder if my mum did have her washing out? Can only imagine what she'd have to say!
