    I would have thought that these 'GG' Headboards would have remained with their respective locomotive, rather than finding their way into private hands?

    Seems odd to me...

    No idea - it was on the SNG Facebook page and has been there since yesterday afternoon which would suggest its legit... but I have no idea so please no one take my word for it!

    Completely legit, they were auctioned off during the event and the rear of the headboard says which engine it came off and is signed by the owner's rep. The certificate that comes with it explains all.
