Hmm, can't see a great deal but it looks like a LMS diagram D1657 to me. Possibly numbered in the 29xxxx range, built Derby 1930 give or take a few years.
I don't have this on my lists so well done for finding it.

I've been offered one from that diagram, but I don't know much about wagons.

I think it is the BR brake van we are getting, its been in the local news and comparing photos it looks BR. The other BV has gone 150 yards down the line andf will be restored to be a company meeting room.

If they're the ones I think they were they were scrapped at Booths in 2009. I could have bought the box van (it was a rare one) and slightly regret that I didn't, but Booths wanted silly money for it. The couplings have survived though...

Blyth Cambois BR 954510. I visited this van several years ago but it had been burnt out.

In sept 2009 there was a 20t brake van with no vac cylnders, at least it apeared like that, marooned on a piece of track in a development site opposite( Other side of the main line) from the southern terminus of the Bure Valley narrow gauge. where it meets the main line. The van looked in fair nick for its age and could have been got out over the industrial area being sufficiently distant from the operational line from memory. If it helps anyone.
