Royal Scot 46115 Scots Guardsman was out on the main line working an Kings Lynn – Nottingham – Melton – Kings Lynn round trip and I was able to capture it as it powered away from Nottingham at “Boots Bridge” Beeston. Also captured whilst I waited is a selection of the local traffic.
As always feedback and comments welcome.

Looking at your captions it may be of interest to note that among its last Longsight duties was the diverted 14:25 St Pancras - Manchester service ( until replaced by Class 44s in the early 1960s ) which I regularly saw at Kettering en route to Derby then Ambergate and the Midland route to Manchester London Road.
