A normal photo charter which anyone could buy a ticket for, but on this occasion full within 12 hours with a very long waiting list.

When you say "private"...is this a photo charter for which tickets can be purchased, or is this genuinely a completely private charter? I don't very often do photo charters because of the expense, but I must admit I'd be seriously tempted by this...

Areas of the Caley Blue paint required a refresh in early 2023 due to some maintenance work being undertaken, and so the opportunity arose to repaint the engine. Paint was paid for entirely by donations from photographers, and the engine ended...
