Kinlet Hall is confirmed as rostered for the WSR portion in both directions.

We have a few standard and club class seats available if anyone fancies a day out on Saturday.

We were unable to secure a stop at Worcester SH on the return, so we providing a coach to get the passengers from Stourbridge back to Worcester SH.

Attracted by fast schedule over Brum - Bristol line. Just phoned VT and there is late availability BUT there will be a diesel on the back, so I will literally let this one pass me by.

No mention of the use of 47773 in post #126 here. "Operate as scheduled".

More or less confirmed in post #131.

A side note, given the current weather conditions fire risk will be the next thing thrown into the mix. My lawn is dry & parched already.

The diesel is NOT on the back of the train all day!

However, given the fact that there was a prediction of rain which may or may not materialise and load 10 is over the load limit on Old Hill Bank for a single loco, added to the fact that WCRC performance is under scrutiny, we decided that it would be prudent to attach diesel assistance from Stourbridge in order to mitigate any performance risk on this stretch of the line which becomes ever busier with local services.

    Regards,

    Bob Meanley

Just got drenched head to foot. All worth it the end, as the damp made for some great clag ! Will be interesting to see if the diesel goes on front at, Stourbridge.
