Weeting Steam Rally 19th July

    Last Saturday I made a trip to Weetings steam Rally, an outstanding event which has nearly something for everyone!

    Set in a very large area there is plenty to see and do with the usual traction engines, rollers, showmans, steam lorries, miniatures, vintage cars, tractors, army vehicles, fire engines etc. There is also a length of standard gauge track which featured Andrew Barclay 'Little Barford' as well as a Miniature railway, helicopter rides, tank rides, dog shows, horses etc etc.

    I have split the gallery into two parts, part 1 shows the various steam related engines on display plus the mini parade which allowed visitors to steer one of the engines:

    Part 2 includes lifting demonstrations with Burrell crane engine 'Lord Derby' on the mini arena as well as more sunny scenes featuring the railways not to mention the grand parade with the large lineup of stunning engines:
