I wonder if it had been the Vulcan fleet in the tanker role and a Victor that bombed the Falklands, would it have been the Victor that people took to their hearts?

I think that the Victor is a stunning looking aircraft with its crescent anhedral wing, but the tin triangle probably attracts more attention.

I think we can be certain of one thing, we won't be seeing a Victor fly again.

The second and third are fabulous being slightly above her, how long did it take you to get up there, or is there a road?

Excellent Matt, managing to keep her in shot makes all the difference.

Two from Dad yesterday. Middle Wallop. Spent nearly 4 hours on Saturday afternoon trying to find cover for work so I could see the Vulcan, but couldn't find anyone at such short notice. Hopefully will be out for the final flight, absolutely blown away by the noise from this thing.

And here's one from August at Clacton-on-Sea - my first time seeing her display.

Stunning, well done. Look at all those cars in the valley, wonder how many of those inside made it up.
